Electric Vehicle Charging Points

Charging points are no longer confined to the motorway services areas but they are probably still the most reliable place to charge your car.

Shell Recharge points can be used with a normal contactless bank card.

Junction 30/31
Charging provided by Ecotricity at Thurrock Services. Charging is also available at the Lakeside Shopping Centre.

Junction 25
Shell Recharge at the Shell garage in Bullsmore Lane. Turn towards London and take the first left at the lights after the roundabout.

Junction 23
South Mimms Services has charging points from Tesla and Ecotricity.

Junction 22
Instavolt fast chargers are available at the McDonalds by the roundabout. Payment is by contactless card, no account is required. Charging is also available if you are staying at the Holiday Inn Express by the roundabout.

Junctions 19 / 20
Shell Recharge available at the filling station at Hunton Bridge. Situated on the A41 between J20 and the J19 spur.
